On March 18, according to information from the Navy, missile frigate 016-Quang Trung, Brigade 162, Naval Region 4 anchored in Jervis Bay, New South Wales, Australia, ready to participate in activities within the framework of the International Navy Ship Parade celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy and the Kakadu 2026 Multilateral Naval Exercise.
Departing from Cam Ranh Military Port on the afternoon of February 23, Ship 016 docked at Coonawarra Naval Base port in Darwin city, Northern Australia territory on March 5 to carry out logistics and technical work to continue the voyage to Sydney city, New South Wales to participate in Kakadu 2026.

Previously, on the morning of March 18, Colonel Nguyen Minh Lanh - Deputy Chief of Staff of Naval Region 4, Head of the Vietnam People's Navy delegation on ship 016-Quang Trung - chaired the Conference to draw experience in the journey from Vietnam to Australia and deploy the tasks of ship 016-Quang Trung and the delegation in Australia.
Accordingly, Ship 016 has successfully completed the planned contents; ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles. The crew organizes to maintain duty shifts, shift shifts tightly, even in unfavorable weather conditions at sea.
The communication system is smooth. Daily routines are maintained and adjusted according to time zones suitable for each location.

According to the plan, on March 19, Major Dang Van Do, Captain of ship 016-Quang Trung, will participate in a meeting at Creswell Naval Base to agree on a plan for a journey combining formation mobilization, aerial photography from the anchorage of Jervis Bay to Sydney Harbour (March 20) and a naval ship parade at Sydney Harbour (March 21).
