At the Anniversary Ceremony, General Secretary and President To Lam emphasized that over 80 years, the advisory work of the People's Police (CAND) has increasingly affirmed its role, meaning, and special importance for all activities of the Police force, both implementing strategic advisory work and conducting operational advisory work, and at the same time being an information center serving leadership, command, direction and management, administration activities, a center for integrating intelligence, an "extended arm", a "second brain" of Party committees and police commanders at all levels.
General Secretary and President To Lam pointed out that the implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress takes place in the context of the world situation undergoing timely changes, interspersed with opportunities, advantages and difficulties, challenges; along with that is the rapid development of science and technology and the trend of deep international integration, having multi-dimensional impacts on Vietnam.
Before the requirements of tasks in the new situation, General Secretary and President To Lam requested the People's Public Security Forces' Advisory force to unify awareness and continue to raise its role; not only to do well in advising the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security, Party committees, leaders, and commanders of the Public Security at all levels, but also to proactively advise the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and Party committees at all levels in the field of national security protection, ensuring social order and safety, maintaining political and social stability and serving national development; towards the goal of ensuring a peaceful, secure, safe, and socially secure life for the people.
At the same time, it is necessary to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement new thinking and awareness about security, protecting national security in the spirit of the 14th Party Congress Resolution such as: Comprehensive security, proactive security, constructive security; in which, not only stopping at protection and service but also contributing to building development, creating direct motivation and favorable conditions for development.
General Secretary and President also emphasized that the Advisory force must be truly exemplary, take the lead, and strongly spread throughout the People's Public Security Forces the action spirit of "responsibility discipline", "implementation discipline", "right choice - quick deployment - thorough implementation - measured by specific results" as identified by the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress; strive to create outstanding imprints and achievements for the Party and the People. At the same time, promote the application of science, technology, digital transformation, and build a regular, elite, and modern force.
Speaking in response at the Anniversary Ceremony, General Luong Tam Quang - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, Minister of Public Security - affirmed that the People's Public Security Forces in general and the People's Public Security Forces' Advisory Force in particular are very honored and proud to be recognized, praised, and highly appreciated by the General Secretary and President for their great efforts, sacrifices, and achievements in the past 80 years; and at the same time have very profound directions on requirements and tasks in the coming time.
Minister Luong Tam Quang emphasized that the entire People's Public Security Forces Staff is deeply aware that these are important orientations of the Party and State for the task of advising the People's Public Security Forces in the new era; seriously absorb and will perform well the advisory function in the field of ensuring national security and ensuring social order and safety.
The People's Police Staff Force will continue to promote the successful implementation of new thinking and awareness about security, national security protection, strongly spread the spirit of action, "responsibility discipline", "implementation discipline" that the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress has identified, contributing to making security and order assurance work truly become the foundation for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and the strategic priority "Maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, promoting rapid and sustainable development of the country, improving all aspects of people's lives, so that people can enjoy all achievements of development, and increase Vietnam's contribution to peace, stability, development and progress in the region and the world.
