On March 7, information from Soc Trang Provincial Police said that on the afternoon of March 6, the unit announced the decision of the Provincial Police Director on the establishment of 5 Criminal Investigation Working Groups to fight against and prevent crimes.
Each Working Group includes 14 - 17 officers and soldiers of the Police units, with a department leader holding the position of Team Leader.
The working groups were stationed at the police headquarters of the districts before being dissolved, including: in My Tu district (in charge of Nga Nam town and My Tu district); in Thanh Tri district (in charge of My Xuyen district and Thanh Tri district); in Tran De district (in charge of Vinh Chau town and Tran De district); in Long Phu district (in charge of Long Phu district and Cu Lao Dung district); in Ke Sach district (in charge of Ke Sach district and Chau Thanh district).
The main tasks of the Working Groups include organizing criminal investigations, fighting and preventing all types of crimes, organizing field exploration and other professional activities.
The Teams are also responsible for directing and guiding the Commune-level Police to organize the implementation and implementation of professional work such as crime prevention and control; receiving and handling reports and denunciations about crimes; investigation work of investigators arranged at the Commune-level Police and security and crime scene investigation work.
Colonel Tran Van Duong - Director of Soc Trang Provincial Police - requested the Working Groups to urgently deploy tasks, ensuring that work is not interrupted, and that no areas or fields under their charge are left vacant.
