On December 11, the Government Office announced that Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son had just signed Decision No. 1541/QD-TTg to establish the Ha Nam High-Tech Park.
According to the decision, a high-tech park under the People's Committee of Ha Nam province was established, called Ha Nam High-Tech Park, with an area of 663.19 hectares in the communes of Tran Hung Dao, Nhan My, Nhan Nghia, Nhan Binh, Xuan Khe and Phu Phuc, Ly Nhan district, Ha Nam province.
Ha Nam High-Tech Park carries out high-tech activities in accordance with Vietnam's high-tech development policies and orientations and high-tech development trends in the world, in which the first phase focuses on attracting high technology in the fields of: artificial intelligence, electronics - semiconductors, biotechnology and medicine, and new materials technology.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Ha Nam province to coordinate with the Ministry of Science and Technology to develop the operating regulations of Ha Nam High-Tech Park and submit them to the Prime Minister for promulgation.
Deploy the preparation, appraisal and approval of construction planning and determine the boundaries and location of Ha Nam High-Tech Park to ensure consistency with the location and scale of the prescribed area; implement procedures for approving investment policies, selecting investors to build and operate infrastructure of Ha Nam High-Tech Park according to the provisions of law.
At the same time, develop a plan to organize units under the People's Committee of Ha Nam province to perform the functions of the Management Board of Ha Nam High-Tech Park, ensuring the principles of streamlining, effectiveness and efficiency, and submit it to the Prime Minister for approval.
Organize the construction, development and take responsibility for state management of Ha Nam High-Tech Park according to regulations, including: development direction, goals, nature, functions and tasks.
The Ministry of Science and Technology is responsible for guiding, inspecting and supervising to ensure that the Ha Nam High-Tech Park operates effectively, in accordance with its objectives and functions; presides over and coordinates with the People's Committee of Ha Nam province to develop the Operating Regulations of the Ha Nam High-Tech Park and submit them to the Prime Minister for promulgation.
Relevant ministries and agencies, according to their assigned functions and tasks, coordinate and guide the People's Committee of Ha Nam province to deploy the construction and state management of the Ha Nam High-Tech Park.
