On the afternoon of July 4, the Government Inspectorate publicly announced the Draft Report on Inspection, Citizen Reception, Complaint and Denunciation Resolution and Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena in the first 6 months of 2026.

In which, the Government Inspectorate said that in the first 6 months of 2026, the entire Inspectorate sector deployed 1,745 inspections, issued 1,122 inspection conclusions at 3,469 units.

Through inspection, management work has been rectified, institutions and legal policies in many fields have been improved; economic violations of 44,623.3 billion VND (up 233.4% compared to the same period in 2025) and 4,824.6 hectares of land have been detected.

In which, it is proposed to recover 631.5 billion VND and 201.2 hectares of land to the state budget; propose to consider and administratively handle 878 collectives and 2,406 individuals; transfer 32 cases to investigating agencies for consideration and handling.

Especially in the first 6 months of 2026, the Government Inspectorate and the inspection sector will continue to conduct specialized inspections nationwide, inspecting according to the direction of the Steering Committee, the Government, and the Prime Minister assigned:

1. Prevention and combat of waste in the management and use of land and housing facilities managed by state agencies, organizations, and enterprises: Up to now, the Government Inspectorate has advised and developed Report No. 361-BC/DU dated June 19, 2026 of the Government Party Committee on the results of the thematic inspection reporting to the Central Steering Committee.

2. Licensing, exploiting, and transporting construction material mines: The Government Inspectorate has Report No. 542/BC-TTCP dated February 26, 2026 on the results of the thematic inspection.

3. Combating illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing (IUU): The Government Inspectorate has deployed inspections of the responsibilities of 3 People's Committees of provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang, Ca Mau. 2 Inspection Conclusions have been issued.

4. Mineral management, licensing, and exploitation: The Government Inspectorate has issued a thematic inspection plan and established a working group to guide, urge, and summarize the results. The inspection of the Government Inspectorate is currently in the process of drafting the Inspection Conclusion; inspections of provinces and cities have deployed 57 inspection teams; the Government Inspectorate has been and is urging and summarizing the results to report to the Prime Minister.

5. Difficult, problematic, and prolonged projects: The Government Inspectorate issued a thematic inspection plan and established a working group to direct, inspect, and guide ministries, branches, and localities. On June 30, the Government Inspectorate reported to the Prime Minister on the results of the thematic inspection.

6. 8. Management and trading of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.

9. Environmental field inspection.

In addition, the Government Inspectorate said that the entire sector has focused on urging and inspecting the implementation of inspection conclusions, focusing on inspection conclusions for the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee to put into monitoring and direction; accelerating the progress of completing and issuing inspection conclusions on a number of contents as requested by the Steering Committee and the Prime Minister.
