In Decision No. 1015/QD-TTg dated May 27, 2025, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city was recognized as meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2024.
Kien Thuy district with the motto "Building new rural areas is a continuous, long-term process, with a starting point but no ending point", the district continues to thoroughly grasp and implement the Party's policies and the State's policies throughout the implementation of the Program to build advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, must be practical, taking improving people's lives as a goal.
The new rural construction program has had a clear breakthrough, strongly mobilizing the participation of the entire political system and achieving positive results. In Decision No. 1017/QD-TTg dated May 27, 2025, Vinh Bao District, Hai Phong City was recognized as meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2024. Since 2019, Vinh Bao district has completed the goal of bringing 100% of communes (29/29 communes) to meet new rural standards. By 2022, the district will be recognized by the Prime Minister as meeting new rural standards for the period 2021-2025; Vinh Bao town will be recognized as meeting civilized urban standards and re-recognized in 2024.
In 2024, all 29 communes will continue to be recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards, and by the end of the year, 17 communes have met model new rural standards, accounting for 58.6%. The district aims to have all 29 communes meet the model new rural standards by 2025, completing the highest development step in the new rural construction program.
Previously, at the end of March 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed a decision to recognize Tien Lang district and An Lao district, Hai Phong as meeting the advanced new rural standards in 2024.
