People nearby quickly discovered and tried to put out the fire with mini fire extinguishers, water... but failed because the fire reached flammable materials in the factory and spread quickly. The smoke column rose tens of meters high, covering the entire area.

Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Ho Chi Minh City Police dispatched many fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene. Firefighting encountered many difficulties due to the fire being too large. However, by around 6am the same day, the fire was completely extinguished.
