This content is mentioned in Directive No. 55-CT/TW on organizing the 2026 Binh Ngo Tet of the Secretariat just issued.
Accordingly, the Secretariat requests Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels to focus on leading, directing and organizing the good implementation of a number of key tasks.
In which, the Secretariat requested to strictly implement discipline and order; prevent and combat wastefulness and negativity.
Leaders and party members strictly implement regulations on revolutionary ethics standards, things that party members are not allowed to do; responsibility to set an example in implementing a civilized lifestyle, especially regulations on not driving vehicles when using alcohol and beer; not participating in and promoting superstitious activities and social evils; not using state budget, vehicles, and public assets illegally for festival and entertainment activities...
Strengthen inspection, supervision, and strictly handle organizations and individuals violating Party regulations and State laws during Tet, especially regarding waste and negativity.
Do not organize visits and Tet greetings to superiors and leaders at all levels; strictly prohibit the use of public funds to give Tet gifts to leaders at all levels in any form.
Do not let congestion or delays in administrative procedures of people and businesses
The Secretariat's Directive also requests to organize the serious and effective implementation of the work, not to affect the quality and progress of implementing the goals and tasks of 2026.
Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations at all levels will complete the year-end summary, evaluation, and ranking of Party organizations and Party members in 2025 in December 2025, and submit reports before February 1, 2026.
During the Tet holiday, arrange sufficient forces and vehicles to be on duty, handle and resolve work promptly and smoothly; strictly implement the information and reporting regime; do not let congestion or delays in administrative procedures of people and businesses.
Immediately after the Tet holiday, the entire political system continues to focus on synchronously implementing the key tasks of 2026.
Resolutely and effectively implement the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Government, the Politburo, and the Secretariat on arranging the organizational structure and operating the 2-level local government model; on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; on international integration in the new situation; on innovation in law-making and law enforcement; on private economic development; on ensuring national energy security; on breakthroughs in education and training development; on strengthening protection, care and improving people's health. Accelerate and break through the successful implementation of socio-economic goals and tasks in 2026 and the entire term of the 14th National Congress.
