General Secretary To Lam hopes that the younger generation will breathe more vitality, lighting up a bright future for Vietnam - Russia relations in the new era.

On May 11, in Moscow, the Russian Federation, General Secretary To Lam had a meeting to express gratitude to Russian scholars, intellectuals and experts who have helped Vietnam.

According to the Vietnam News Agency, at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam emphasized that with the spirit of "drinking water to remember the source, eating fruits to remember the plant growers", the Vietnamese people always grateful and deeply grateful to the great help of Soviet and Russian experts in the cause of liberation, unity and construction of Vietnam today.

The General Secretary assesses historical works with the support of Soviet experts, Russia such as Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Plant, Thang Long Bridge, Pha Lai Thermal Power Plant ... Today has become a symbol of friendship between the two peoples; Thank the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation for supporting the training of nearly 70,000 Vietnamese cadres for generations, many of which have held the highest leadership positions of the Party and the State, core officials, contributing to the foundation for many sectors, key science and economic fields of Vietnam, including in the current period.

General Secretary To Lam welcomed the meaning of the meeting, not only helping to connect veterans and Soviet experts who helped the Vietnamese people in the past, but also contributed to strengthening the education of the younger generation to continue preserving and developing a good friendly traditional relationship between the two peoples.

The General Secretary emphasized that the general agreements achieved through high -level visits and contacts between the two countries, including President Vladimir Putin's state visit in June June and the visit of the Party and State of the Party and State this time were strategic orientations, a guideline to bring in cooperation into a new development stage, increasingly deep and in depth.

The General Secretary suggested that the two countries further promote economic integration in the coming time, continue to effectively implement cooperation projects in traditional fields, conduct in-depth research on each other's markets to diversify existing trade portfolios and direct investment in new fields where the two countries have great potential and long-term needs.

The General Secretary hopes that the Vietnam - Russia relationship will become a model of how to turn a large area into a potential development area for all participating countries.

In that spirit, General Secretary To Lam suggested that the two countries promote cooperation in the fields of basic science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, which are strengths of the Russian Federation and Vietnam, which are identified as a breakthrough to develop the country, make a breakthrough and get rich in the new era.
