On April 2, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Organizing Committee to serve the 14th National Party Congress (subcommittee) held its third meeting.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Subcommittee - chaired the conference.
Also attending were Central Party Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long; members of the Subcommittees, leaders of central agencies and Hanoi City.
The meeting also considered a number of proposals and recommendations from relevant units and agencies.
Concluding the meeting, emphasizing that there is not much time left until the 14th National Party Congress, only about 9 months left, while the workload of the Subcommittee is very large, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu suggested that agencies and units must closely follow the assigned functions and tasks.
In the units that have just been rearranged, it is necessary to update the tasks of the merged and consolidated units, including the task of preparing to serve the 14th National Party Congress to properly carry out the assigned tasks, not missing out on them.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu emphasized that the requirement of close coordination between agencies is very important, with a spirit of urgency, speeding up progress, and clarifying each task to promptly resolve problems and difficulties in the implementation process.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu said that the consultation work must be quick and decisive to resolve the work, avoiding being passive.
Due to the innovation of the political system's organizational apparatus, the tasks and requirements are also different. Many jobs require further acceleration, cannot be shaped in the same way as before, but must be dynamic, flexible and innovative in methods, closely following the practical situation to implement otherwise they will not be able to keep up with the requirements of the task.
Urgently and resolutely deploy work to serve the 14th National Party Congress
Emphasizing the importance of the content of propaganda for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that relevant agencies proactively propose propaganda content, and at the same time clearly stated the requirement to aim for practical content, avoiding waste and formality.
Information and propaganda about Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress should be associated with the implementation of the country's socio-economic development goals and solutions in the new period with the goal of achieving GDP growth of 8% or more in 2025, creating a premise for double-digit growth in the following years.
Along with that is propaganda on the work of organizing and streamlining the apparatus; developing science, technology, innovation, national digital transformation - one of the major driving forces to accelerate economic and social growth.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu also noted the work of advising, submitting draft, synthesizing comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress... according to regulations and in accordance with the process of organizing Party Congresses at all levels after the arrangement and organization of the apparatus of the political system.
The Standing Secretariat emphasized the need to urgently complete the application of information technology, organize and deploy to ensure security and safety for the Congress in accordance with reality.
Relevant agencies continue to proactively review and implement the tasks assigned by the Subcommittee; preside over and strengthen coordination between relevant agencies and units in organizing implementation, avoid omission, delays, avoid "waiting" for each work content; at the same time, promote and assign responsibility to the head to ensure the work of serving the Congress is truly thoughtful, economical, and absolutely safe.
Requesting agencies and units to be more urgent and determined in implementing the work of serving the 14th National Party Congress according to the assigned plan, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat stated that this is a very important task, which if well implemented will contribute to the overall success of the 14th National Party Congress.
