On April 24, in Hanoi, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh - Chairman of the Central Emulation and Reward Council - launched the movement "The whole country competes for innovation and digital transformation".
Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister emphasized that in today's world, science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are not only objective requirements, an inevitable trend of the times but also the most important path to break through, overcome difficulties and challenges, seize opportunities, build an independent, self-reliant and strong economy.
The head of the Government stated that Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation is a document of special importance, a guideline for rapid and sustainable development.
This is also a strong call, calling, encouraging and motivating the entire Party, people and army to strive to bring the country firmly into a new era - an era of strong, civilized and prosperous development of the nation.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to develop and strongly apply science and technology, strongly promote innovation, digital transformation, create new momentum, and open up new development space for the country.
"Sciences and technology, innovation, digital transformation are unlimited, unlimited, un aged, un gioiessed, unreligible," the Prime Minister noted.

The Prime Minister emphasized the following key tasks and main goals:
First, promoting the tradition of patriotism, the combined strength of the entire political system, of the entire nation, the active participation of businessmen, enterprises, scientists, intellectuals, students and all people.
Strive to have potential, scientific, technological and innovative qualifications in many important fields by 2030, and be among the leading countries with high average incomes.
The scale of the digital economy reaches at least 30% of GDP. The rate of online public service use by people and businesses reached over 80%. Advanced, modern digital technology infrastructure, super large capacity, super wide bandwidth on par with advanced countries.
Second, strongly arouse the aspiration for national development, promote proactiveness and creativity in the entire political system and among the people, self-reliance, and make the most of endogenous capacity.
Third, fundamentally and comprehensively innovate the management and operation of state management agencies, production and business activities of enterprises, and the way of life and work of people.
The Prime Minister also suggested that the business community strive to focus on implementing the following "3 key missions":
First, build a long-term, sustainable vision and strategy, look ahead, think deeply to make big; have a proactive and flexible business structure; strong innovation culture. Promote international cooperation, research, development and innovation in the digital environment.
Second, shift from applying and mastering technology to building breakthrough creative capacity, taking advantage of opportunities from the 4.0 Industrial Revolution to "taken the lead, take the lead" to master the future with the spirit of "catching up, moving forward and surpassing".
Third, reforming the management model while expanding the capacity to apply new technologies, digitize and develop breakthrough products and services to create difference and competition in the market.
