At noon on December 22, at the Government headquarters, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired the announcement and presented the decision to assign the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade to Mr. Le Manh Hung.
The Prime Minister issued Decision No. 2768/QD-TTg dated December 20, 2025 to transfer Mr. Le Manh Hung - Chairman of the Board of Members of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group to work at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, assigning the Acting Minister of Industry and Trade.
The Government Party Committee has decided to appoint Mr. Le Manh Hung to join the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
At the ceremony, the Prime Minister stated that Mr. Le Manh Hung is a cadre with more than 27 years of working experience, well-trained, with courage, vision, breakthrough thinking and rich practical experience in both state management and business operations.
In his working position, Mr. Le Manh Hung always showed himself to be an exemplary, dedicated, decisive, and determined cadre in performing assigned duties and tasks; being the center of solidarity, unity of will and action in the leadership team where he has worked.
The Prime Minister affirmed that in recent years, the industry and trade have matured and grown, achieved many outstanding achievements, making important contributions to the cause of national construction and development.
In the coming time, the mission and requirements for the industry and trade will continue to be very heavy but also extremely glorious. Therefore, the Prime Minister requested Mr. Le Manh Hung to continue to learn, inherit, and further promote the experience and achievements of previous generations, promote solidarity and unity, and work with the collective leadership of the Ministry to focus on implementing the "6 pioneers" for the industry and trade sector, including:
