Prime Minister mobilizes and appoints 16 Deputy Ministers under 7 Ministries

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to transfer and appoint 16 Deputy Ministers of 7 Ministries after the restructuring and merger of the apparatus.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed Decisions to transfer and appoint a number of Deputy Ministers of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Science and Technology, Finance, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Home Affairs, Agriculture and Environment, Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

For the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Decision No. 316/QD-TTg dated February 18, 2025, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Le Anh Tuan - Deputy Head of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In Decision No. 320/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister decided to appoint Mr. Ngo Le Van - former Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The decision takes effect from February 6, 2025. The term of appointment for Mr. Ngo Le Van is 5 years.

In Decision No. 317/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister appointed Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Commission for External Relations - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.

For the Ministry of Science and Technology, in Decision No. 318/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Bui Hoang Phuong - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.

In Decision No. 366/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Pham Duc Long - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Science and Technology.

For the Ministry of Finance, in Decision No. 319/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Duc Tam - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.

In Decision No. 333/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Do Thanh Trung - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.

In Decision No. 369/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Ho Sy Hung - Vice Chairman of the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprises - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Finance.

For the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 328/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025 to transfer and appoint Mr. Phan Tam - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

For the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 336/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025 to transfer and appoint Mr. Nguyen Van Hoi - Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Home Affairs.

For the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in Decision No. 334/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Tran Quy Kien - Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

In Decision No. 335/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Le Cong Thanh - Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

In Decision No. 337/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Le Minh Ngan - Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

In Decision No. 345/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Tran Thanh Nam - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

In Decision No. 346/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025, the Prime Minister transferred and appointed Mr. Nguyen Quoc Tri - Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment.

For the Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, the Prime Minister signed Decision No. 358/QD-TTg dated February 19, 2025 to transfer and appoint Ms. Nong Thi Ha - Deputy Minister, Deputy Head of the Ethnic Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
