Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspects the construction site of urban railway line No. 3, Nhon - Hanoi Station section.

On February 22, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a working delegation came to inspect the construction site of the pilot urban railway project of Hanoi City, Nhon - Hanoi Station section.

At the construction sites of underground stations, the team of officials, engineers, and workers are highly focused, working overtime, increasing shifts, and closely monitoring the project progress.

At subway stations S9 - Kim Ma, S11 - Van Mieu and S12 - Tran Hung Dao, the Prime Minister directly inspected the construction deployment situation, listened to reports on progress, ongoing items and deployment plans in the coming time.

The working delegation also conducted field surveys in the construction tunnel to assess working conditions, construction organization, labor safety assurance and project quality.

Surveying and inspecting the construction site, witnessing the comprehensive progress of the project, the Prime Minister praised the efforts and results achieved, especially the team of officials, engineers, and workers directly working at the construction site.

The Prime Minister emphasized that for socio-economic development, infrastructure must first be developed, in which the urban railway system plays a particularly important role in connecting urban space, connecting functional areas, promoting trade, investment, tourism and improving the competitiveness of the Capital.

The sooner the project is completed, the sooner commercial, investment, and tourism activities will develop, thereby creating momentum for local economic growth and the Capital region.

The Head of Government expressed his gratitude to the people for accompanying, sharing and supporting the project in the implementation process; and at the same time wished the people to continue to support and create conditions for the project to be implemented smoothly, on schedule and achieve the highest quality.

On the occasion of the beginning of the new Spring, the Prime Minister and the working delegation visited, wished Tet and presented gifts to encourage the team of officials, engineers, experts and workers working throughout Tet at the construction site.

The Prime Minister praised the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board, contractors participating in the project and the team of officials, engineers, and workers who sacrificed time, the joy of family reunion, working through holidays and Tet to promote project construction progress.

Investors, consultants, contractors, staff, engineers, and workers continue to promote the spirit of "eating quickly, sleeping urgently", "overcoming sunshine, winning rain, not losing to storms and winds", organizing "3 shifts, 4 crews", "only discussing doing, not discussing retreating", making the highest efforts and accelerating further to complete the key objectives of the project.

Reporting to the working delegation, Mr. Nguyen Cao Minh - Head of Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board said that so far the progress of package CP03 - Tunnel and underground stations has reached 76.30%, and construction activities are taking place synchronously on all construction sites.

Tunnel drilling work: TBM1 machine completed tunnel drilling on December 1, 2025 and is being dismantled at station S12 - Tran Hung Dao; TBM2 machine is constructing section S11 - S12 and is expected to arrive at station S12 at the end of March 2026.

Construction of underground stations: peak and transshipment structures have been completed; bottom structure and auxiliary works are being deployed, basic progress closely follows the plan. Accumulated disbursement from the beginning of the project to February 10, 2026 reached 25,258,583/3,428 billion VND, equivalent to 72.53%.
