According to VNA, during his official visit to the Czech Republic, on the morning of January 19, in the capital city of Prague, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh worked with leaders of typical Vietnamese businesses in the Czech Republic and Europe, including Sportisimo, Frostfood, Anam Group, East Sea Travel, Thang Long Holding, Hungary-Vietnam Economic Development Center, Tamda Foods, Asia Dragon Cheb, FPT Czech and Slovakia, Česke štěrkopisky, Veltatea and PAMA.
At the meeting, leaders of Vietnamese businesses in the Czech Republic and Europe said that Vietnamese businesses in Europe not only do traditional trade but have surpassed themselves, expanding into other fields such as construction materials, high-tech agriculture, processing, tourism, real estate, culture, sports, information technology, etc.
Business leaders hope that Vietnam will focus on investing more so that Vietnamese goods and services have higher added value, strong brands, and meet demanding markets; invest more in promoting the image of the country, its people, and the potential and opportunities for investment cooperation in Vietnam in the international arena; and have more effective solutions in mobilizing resources from overseas Vietnamese to invest and develop the country...
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh praised businesses for connecting businesses and entrepreneurs in the European region, supporting people in doing business and doing business; and having many activities connecting domestic and foreign businesses.
Sharing the difficulties and concerns of enterprises, the Prime Minister affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always follow, support and create the best conditions for enterprises to develop; hope that Vietnamese enterprises in the Czech Republic and Europe continue to invest and do business in accordance with local laws; be a bridge for domestic people and enterprises to do business and develop the economy in Europe, and at the same time return to Vietnam to invest in production and business; connect the strength and development strategy of Vietnam with the host country; share experiences, transfer science and technology, management science; give advice to the Party and State to continue perfecting institutions, building a national development strategy; connect domestic and foreign production and supply chains.
The Prime Minister said that Vietnam has identified and is promoting national development based on science, technology, and innovation; promoting three strategic breakthroughs in institutions, infrastructure, and human resources; prioritizing the development of high-tech industries; building strong brands; promoting tourism, developing cultural industries, etc.
Considering that there is still a gap between policies and guidelines and their actual implementation, the Prime Minister assigned relevant ministries and branches to absorb the opinions of business leaders and handle them according to their authority; believing that in the coming time, Vietnamese businesses in the Czech Republic and Europe, as well as Vietnamese businesses around the world, will join hands, be unanimous, and actively contribute directly and indirectly to Vietnam's socio-economic development goals, and together with the country, enter an era of striving to develop into a rich, civilized, and powerful country, with people becoming increasingly happy and prosperous.
