The delegates vowed to be absolutely loyal to the goals and ideals of the Communist Party of Vietnam, to forever follow the path chosen by the Party, Uncle Ho and the people; join forces, unite, and be determined to protect, build and develop the homeland and country in the new era, with the people increasingly prosperous and happy.
Started in 1990, Vi Xuyen National Martyrs' Cemetery has just been upgraded and expanded with a scale of more than 10ha.

The cemetery is the resting place of 1,972 martyrs and 2 collective martyrs' graves, in which many graves have not been identified; most are cadres and soldiers who bravely fought and sacrificed in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland.
According to the Tuyen Quang Provincial Military Command, in the battle to protect the northern border, there were about 4,370 martyrs in the province.
Currently, there are still more than 1,200 martyrs still lying on the battlefield. Tuyen Quang province is deploying a 500-day and night campaign to search, repatriate and identify martyrs' remains with the highest determination, so far functional forces have repatriated 28 martyrs' remains and 5 mass graves.
