The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the most developed economic regions in the Russian Federation, with a high level of industrialization with key industries such as KAMAZ truck production, chemicals, civil aircraft, UAVs and helicopters, food chemicals, textiles, and wood furniture production. The locality also focuses on developing small and medium-sized enterprises, industrial parks in the information technology sector, creating jobs for more than 45,000 people, with revenue of 10 billion USD/year.
Made in Tatarstan" is a strategic brand and an important exhibition series to introduce the entire industrial potential, high technology and production and export capacity of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The exhibition gathers leading industrial enterprises of the republic to perform visually for international delegations, especially in the automobile and transportation industry (symbolic heavy trucks of KAMAZ, luxury Aurus models, commercial vehicles of Sollers), aviation (modern helicopters from the Kazan helicopter factory).
In the field of technology and digital transformation, the exhibition demonstrates IT solutions of the Innopolis special economic zone, industrial surveillance drones and advanced electric vehicle charging stations. The agricultural and specialized equipment sector displays agricultural machinery from Kazan-selmash, MTZ-Tatarstan tractors, and specialized vehicle lines of ELAZ, RIAT.
The outdoor area introduces industrial products, vehicles and equipment manufactured by Tatarstan. The indoor area introduces the history, achievements and strengths of Tatarstan in the fields of culture, information technology, industry, health, sports and tourism. The exhibition also features cultural activities, experiencing handicrafts, and traditional cuisine for visitors.
The Exhibition Organizing Committee emphasized that each display area selects typical technologies, products and practices, thereby creating conditions for delegates to seek cooperation opportunities and maintain contact after the event.
The "Made in Tatarstan" exhibition is often held on the sidelines of major events and summits. This time, the exhibition serves delegates attending the Russia-ASEAN Summit from June 15 to 19. On June 20 and 21, the exhibition is open to people and tourists in Kazan.
