According to the Government News, on the evening of December 5, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and founder and Chairman of NVIDIA Technology Group Jensen Huang visited Ngoc Son Temple, strolled around Hoan Kiem Lake, and visited Hanoi's Old Quarter.
Offering incense at the relic site, the Prime Minister and Mr. Jensen Huang listened to the tour guide introduce the history of the Pen Tower, Inkstone Platform, The Huc Bridge, Ngoc Son Temple, especially the legend of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Hoan Kiem Lake turtle.
Next, the Prime Minister and NVIDIA Chairman visited the old quarter, met and chatted with locals and tourists, and visited book and souvenir shops.
The Prime Minister invited Mr. Jensen Huang and the senior leaders of NVIDIA Corporation to enjoy Hanoi's street food, such as nem tai, nem chua ran, and drink Truc Bach beer... on Ta Hien Street - Hanoi's "street that never sleeps" that attracts many foreign tourists.
Mr. Jensen Huang is on his second working visit to Hanoi on December 5-6 to announce some of the group's strategic cooperation in Vietnam.
On the afternoon of December 5, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a working session with Mr. Jensen Huang and witnessed the signing ceremony of the Agreement between the Government of Vietnam and NVIDIA on cooperation in establishing the NVIDIA Artificial Intelligence (AI) Research and Development Center and the AI Data Center in Vietnam.
This is an important milestone demonstrating Chairman Jensen Huang's determination and strong commitment to turning Vietnam into "NVIDIA's second home". Chairman Jensen Huang has also repeatedly expressed his good impressions of the country, people and potential of Vietnam.
