According to VNA, at 8:00 a.m. on June 14, the plane carrying Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his wife and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation arrived at Noi Bai International Airport, Hanoi, successfully concluding the working trip to attend the 3rd United Nations Summit on the Ocean (UNOC 3) in Nice, France; conducting bilateral activities in the Republic of France, and an official visit to the Republic of Estonia and the Kingdom of Sweden.
During the 10-day working trip, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a busy schedule of activities, with more than 80 activities. In particular, attending the 3rd UNOC Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh represented ASEAN countries in an important speech; co-chaired the Summit event on the world's continental Delta region with the President of Iraq; attended the Green Economy and Finance Forum in Monaco as a special guest.
On the occasion of attending the 3rd UNOC Conference, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had meetings with more than 20 leaders of countries and international organizations attending the Conference such as: Vice President of China, King of Jordan, President of Peru, President of Palau, President of Costa Rica, Prime Minister of Greece, Prime Minister of Spain, Prime Minister of Portugal, Prime Minister of Philippines, Philippines, Prime Minister Solomon...; leaders of international organizations such as President of the United Nations General Assembly, Secretary General of the United Nations, President of the European Council, President of the European Commission, Director General of UNESCO...
During the working trip, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh will have bilateral activities in France, and official visits to Estonia and Sweden. In all three countries, the Prime Ministers have held talks and meetings with senior leaders of other countries.
In France, the two sides agreed on measures to promote the implementation and realization of the Vietnam - France Comprehensive Strategic Partnership framework and the results of General Secretary To Lam's official visit to France, as well as the results of French President Emmanuel Macron's recent visit to Vietnam.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and senior leaders of Estonia and Sweden agreed to renew and promote Vietnam's relations with Estonia and Sweden in a new stage of development, especially cooperation in the fields of science, technology, innovation, digital transformation - strengths of both European countries. In which, Vietnam and Sweden upgraded their relationship to an Industry Strategic Partnership in the fields of science, technology and innovation.
