On September 16, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc signed Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the fire at a house at No. 2B, alley 264/2 Thuy Khue street, Tay Ho ward, Hanoi City.
Official dispatch sent to the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi City People's Committee and People's Committees of provinces and cities.
According to the telegram, at about 1:50 am on September 16, a house fire occurred at No. 2B, alley 264/2 Thuy Khue street, Tay Ho ward, Hanoi city, causing serious consequences, killing 5 people.
Government leaders sent their regards and deep condolences to the relatives and families of the victims and gave the following instructions:
Hanoi City People's Committee directs visits, support, and create the best conditions to soon stabilize the lives of the victim's families; coordinate with the Ministry of Public Security to urgently investigate the cause of the fire, clarify the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to regulations.
Over the past time, all levels and sectors, with the core force being the People's Police force, have seriously and drastically organized the implementation of fire prevention and fighting and rescue work, making an important contribution to ensuring security, order, social safety, national development, and protecting the property, health, and lives of the people.
However, fires still continue to occur across the country, causing serious consequences and great losses of life and property. Therefore, it is proposed that the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committees of provinces and cities:
Continue to strictly implement the regulations and directions of the Secretariat, the Government, and the Prime Minister on fire prevention, fighting, rescue, and relief work.
Promote propaganda, dissemination, legal education, skills, combine inspection and guidance on fire prevention and fighting and rescue, turn fire prevention into culture, fire fighting into skills, not only responsibility before the law but also ethics and obligations to the community.
Immediately overcome the situation of subjectivity, negligence, and underestimation of regulations on fire and explosion safety, not anticipating serious consequences caused by fire and explosion; strictly and decisively handle violations that cause serious consequences.
