On June 2, the General Department of Politics (GPP) of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA) held a conference to evaluate the results of implementing Party work and political work (PT) tasks in May, and deploy key tasks for June 2025.
Senior General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Chairman of the TCCT of the Vietnam People's Army attended and chaired the Conference.
The content of the report and the opinions expressed at the conference agreed to assess that in May 2025, the coordination and disbursement activities in the entire army have closely followed military and defense tasks, deployed them closely, synchronously, with focus and key points; completed all programs and plans both regularly and suddenly, many tasks were well completed.
Notably, the entire army has promoted political education and ideological leadership; focused on grasping the quality of training and the ideological situation of new soldiers. Proactively inform and propagate, orient opinions and public opinion on new, complex and sensitive issues.

Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet requested: In June, the task of the Red Cross, the CTCT should focus on grasping the situation of the soldiers' ideology. The authorities need to perform well the guidance on directing the propaganda of political education, legal education, legal advisory and legal advice; extensive propaganda of the great guidelines of the Party and the State and the army oriented the ideological direction, creating consensus in the entire army and people; Timely solve problems of the soldiers.
Senior General Trinh Van Quyet requested to do a good job of advising, leading, and directing the entire army to effectively carry out the work of arranging the organization and staffing of the entire army in the direction of streamlining, compactness, and strengthening; building exemplary regulations for the newly established Army Party Committee.
Focus on successfully directing Party congresses at all levels in the Army. Strengthen mass mobilization to help ethnic minority areas, remote and disadvantaged areas, develop the economy, culture and society with focus and key points. Promote digital transformation in agencies and units, ensure information security and confidentiality associated with improving the quality of task completion and work processing progress.
On this occasion, TCCT awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in advising, organizing, and participating in activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); on continuing to promote the implementation of the Regulations on grassroots democracy in the Army.
