On October 8, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong received Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi.

According to VNA, the Standing Secretariat congratulated the 75th anniversary of China's National Day and the achievements the Chinese people have made over the past 75 years under the leadership of the Communist Party of China; and congratulated Mr. Ha Vi on being appointed by the Chinese Party and State as Ambassador to Vietnam.

The Standing Secretariat believes that with his rich experience, Ambassador Ha Vi will make many positive and effective contributions to further strengthening the relationship between the two Parties and two countries.

The Standing Member of the Secretariat expressed his delight at the positive, profound and comprehensive developments in the relationship between the two Parties and countries in recent times; affirming that developing relations with China is a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy.

The Standing Secretariat proposed that in the coming time, the two sides continue to coordinate to promote regular high-level exchanges, effectively implement agreements of the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries, deepen substantive cooperation in all fields, especially in the fields of economy, trade and investment; strengthen strategic connectivity, first of all, effectively implementing the construction of Vietnam's northern railway lines connecting with China; The two sides implement practical measures in the "Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year 2025" on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations, consolidating the social foundation of bilateral relations; suggesting that the two sides strictly implement the high-level common perception, make efforts to better control and resolve disagreements by peaceful means, in accordance with international law.

Ambassador Ha Vi thanked Standing Secretary of the Party Central Committee Luong Cuong for his important guidance to continue promoting the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future with increasingly growing strategic significance, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.

Ambassador Ha Vi affirmed that the leaders of the Party, State and people of China highly value the relationship with Vietnam, considering Vietnam a priority direction in China's neighborly diplomacy.

Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Ha Vi expressed that in the coming time, he will make efforts and closely coordinate with relevant agencies and localities of Vietnam to effectively implement the important common perceptions reached between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and two countries; he is ready to be a bridge of friendship to promote the effectiveness of high-level exchanges, promote substantive cooperation in all fields, contributing to promoting the traditional friendship between China and Vietnam to increasingly bear fruit, bringing many practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
