Vietnamese leaders send congratulatory message on 75th anniversary of China's National Day

General Secretary and President To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man sent congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of China's National Day.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China (October 1, 1949 - October 1, 2024), General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam sent a congratulatory message to General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping; at the same time, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man also sent congratulatory messages to Premier of the State Council of China Li Qiang and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China Zhao Leji.

In their congratulatory messages, the leaders of our Party and State expressed their appreciation and congratulations on the important achievements in socio-economic development and reform and opening up that the Party, State and People of China have achieved over the past 75 years; they believe that under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping as the core, China will successfully complete the strategic development goals and tasks set forth by the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, soon building China into a modern, prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist country, making positive contributions to peace, stability and prosperous development in the region and the world.

Emphasizing that the Party, State and People of Vietnam consistently identify strengthening and developing stable, healthy, friendly and cooperative relations with China as a strategic choice, a top priority in Vietnam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralization and diversification of foreign relations, the leaders of our Party and State affirmed their readiness to maintain regular exchanges with senior leaders of China, strengthen strategic orientations for bilateral relations according to high-level common perceptions; constantly foster and consolidate the traditional friendship between the two Parties and two countries, enhance mutual understanding between the people of the two countries, continue to promote the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership, build the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future to continuously develop in depth and become increasingly substantive and effective, for the practical interests of the people of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the world.

Also on this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son - Chairman of the Committee for Vietnam - China bilateral cooperation - sent a congratulatory message to the Head of the Central Foreign Affairs Office Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Wang Yi - Chairman of the Committee for China - Vietnam bilateral cooperation.
