Building a clean and strong Party Committee
On September 17, giving a speech at the 1st Congress of the Da Nang City Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized: "Da Nang needs to build a team of Party members, civil servants, and public employees of the city, especially key leaders, leaders with capacity, qualities, and prestige; daring to think, daring to do, daring to innovate, daring to make breakthroughs for the common good".
On behalf of the Politburo and the Secretariat, Mr. Tran Cam Tu acknowledged and commended the comprehensive efforts and achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang have achieved in the period of 2020 - 2025. The city has basically completed its goals, both controlling the COVID-19 epidemic and recovering the economy, affirming its strong role in the growth of the Central region.
In the coming term, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that the Da Nang Party Committee firmly adhere to the motto "stability - development - improving people's lives", linking building a clean and strong Party with socio-economic development. The Assembly will only be truly successful when the set goals and targets are put into practice, creating a clear change in the quality of life of the people - he emphasized.
Breakthrough with science, technology and innovation
The political report submitted to the Congress shows that Da Nang has admitted nearly 16,000 new party members, strongly implemented the model of "four good party groups", "skillful mass mobilization", promoted inspection, supervision, and prevention of corruption and negativity. This is an important foundation for the city to enter the new term with high determination.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu requested: "It is necessary to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of each grassroots party organization, closely attached to the people; promote self-criticism and criticism, and resolutely handle degraded cadres and party members".
From the reality that Da Nang has pioneered in digital transformation, innovative startups and was assigned many specific mechanisms by the Central Government, Mr. Tran Cam Tu suggested that the city continue to promote and boldly propose a testing policy with control over new technology, develop green, digital, and circular economic sectors; at the same time, urgently complete transport infrastructure and digital infrastructure to improve competitiveness.
In his concluding remarks, the Standing Member of the Secretariat emphasized: Our three core and consistent goals are to stabilize, develop and constantly improve peoples lives all for the prosperous and happy life of the people.
With a tradition of bravery, resilience, aspiration to rise up along with solidarity and unity, Da Nang is expected to become the growth pole of Vietnam, worthy of being the development core of the region and the country in the new era.
