On the morning of September 30, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee solemnly held the opening ceremony of the 1st Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.
The congress was happy and honored to receive a congratulatory flower basket from General Secretary To Lam; President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc represented the Politburo and the Central Party Secretariat to attend and direct the Congress.
At the Congress, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong announced the Politburo's Decisions on appointing members of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, and Deputy Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term I, 2025-2030, consists of 71 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term I, consists of 18 comrades.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Hong Thai - Deputy Minister of National Defense was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee.
The Deputy Secretaries of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee include Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee), Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan ( Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee), and Mr. Nguyen Viet Oanh (Chairman of the Provincial People's Council).
According to Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee Nguyen Quang Duong, after the congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Gau - Secretary of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee will take on a new assignment.
At the congress, the Executive Committee of the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was launched.
Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai, born on May 7, 1969, hometown Hung Yen province. He was a member of the 13th Party Central Committee, a delegate to the 14th National Assembly.
During his working career, Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai has held the following positions: Commander of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command, Deputy Commander of Military Region 2, Political Commissar of the Phu Tho Provincial Military Command, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 2, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command, Commander of Military Region 1.
On April 26, the Prime Minister signed a decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Hong Thai as Deputy Minister of National Defense.
