The Government Inspectorate has just issued a Report on the Results of Resolving and Responding to Voters' petitions sent after the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Notably, voters in Da Nang City reflected that nationwide, there are currently many works and projects invested from the state budget that are abandoned or behind schedule, not being effective, causing loss and waste of state assets, typically: the Flood Control project in Ho Chi Minh City, the Bach Mai Hospital 2 facility project and the Viet Duc Friendship Hospital 2 facility project...
Voters recommended that the Government should strengthen the review and direction of handling the above situation to effectively use state resources, contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.
In this regard, the Government Inspectorate said that implementing the direction of the Central Steering Committee on anti -corruption, waste, negative and direction of the Prime Minister; On 6.1.2025, the Government Inspector General issued Decision No. 01/QD-TTCP Inspector of the Investment Project to build a new establishment 2 of Bach Mai Hospital and the Investment Project to build a new establishment 2 of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital.
On March 28, 2025, the Government Inspector General issued Inspection Conclusion No. 528/KL-TTCP and publicized the Inspection Conclusion. After pointing out many violations, the Government Inspectorate transferred the case file with signs of crime to the Ministry of Public Security for investigation and handling according to the law.
"In the coming time, the Government Inspectorate will continue to conduct inspections under the 2025 inspection plan and irregular inspection under the direction of the Central Steering Committee on anti -corruption, waste, negative and direction of the Prime Minister" - the report said.
In particular, the Government Inspectorate said that the inspection plan includes a number of public investment projects and projects using land in localities.
