On the evening of April 12, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that the province has just had a plan to review the transport infrastructure, planning to arrange automobiles to serve the work and travel needs of cadres, civil servants, and public employees after the arrangement of provincial-level administrative units.
It is expected that if the province is merged, there will be about 1,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees. Of which, about 120 cadres are under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, excluding the armed forces. These people need to travel from Tuy Hoa city (Phu Yen province) to Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak province) to work and vice versa.
For the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Directors, Deputy Directors and equivalent at the department level, the arrangement of separate service vehicles will be applied.
These people will take the initiative in travel time, not according to a specific time frame, to ensure that they meet work requirements.
The rest will arrange common transportation, hire a car to pick up and drop off cadres, civil servants, and public employees at certain times (resolutely pick up and drop off from 1 to 3 pick-up/ drop off points throughout the journey).
In particular, 120 cadres under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee will use official vehicles under the management of agencies and units to pick up and drop off cadres according to the title standards and are allowed to use official vehicles.
For the remaining 880 civil servants, they will rent centralized transportation vehicles according to a specific schedule.
The total estimated cost (excluding the cost of service vehicles) is about 1 billion VND/month, supported by the provincial budget in 2025 and the central government.
