Ba Ria - Vung Tau - the occupational accident happened suspected of leaking gas caused 1 death, 41 people affected.

On April 13, the Union of Industrial Zones in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province said that a labor accident occurred in the area, causing one death.

According to initial information, the accident at Z.O.C VN Co., Ltd. (Phu My 3 Industrial Park, Phu My City) occurred on April 12, causing 41 people to be affected and 1 death.

While many workers and workers are working, some people appear symptoms of fatigue, shortness of breath, headache, and sweat. In particular, the most serious case is Mr. T.V.D died before being taken to emergency.

Suspecting poisoning, or asphyxiation due to leak, 41 other workers in the area were quickly taken to emergency by the business at Ba Ria Hospital, including cases without abnormal symptoms.

Through monitoring treatment, until about 17h on 12.4, there were 40/41 cases being discharged from the hospital, monitoring at home. One case continues to monitor at the hospital due to close contact, in a state of alertness and stable health.

Immediately after the incident, the authorities blocked off the scene to conduct an investigation to clarify the cause of the work accident.
