According to the Government's electronic information portal, on October 10, the 1st Special Forces Brigade (Special Forces Corps) held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Ministry of National Defence on the reorganization of the 1st Special Forces Brigade (peacetime) under the Special Forces Corps.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Head of the Ministry of National Defence, Major General Hoang Minh Son, Commander of the Special Forces, presented Decision No. 3378/QD-BQP of the Ministry of National Defence on the reorganization of the 1st Special Forces Brigade (peacetime) under the Special Forces Corps to the Brigade commander.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Hoang Minh Son affirmed: During the process of building, fighting, growing and developing, the officers and soldiers of the 1st Special Forces Brigade have always had high determination, overcome all difficulties, achieved many resounding victories, and achieved outstanding achievements, contributing significantly to building and promoting the tradition of "Especially elite, extremely brave, bold and resourceful, fighting dangerously and winning big" of the heroic Special Forces.
Major General Hoang Minh Son requested the Party Committee and Command of the 1st Special Forces Brigade to thoroughly grasp and seriously, closely and scientifically implement the organizational adjustment according to the direction and guidance of superiors; always uphold the spirit of solidarity, self-reliance and self-strengthening; synchronously and effectively deploy solutions to build a "lean, compact and strong" force associated with enhancing the overall strength, in accordance with the functions, tasks and organization and staffing of the Brigade, meeting the requirements of the Special Forces' tasks in the new situation.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Nam, Brigade Commander of the 1st Special Forces Brigade, the Brigade will urgently review and develop plans to adjust and arrange personnel, arrange the framework of cadres, professional soldiers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers according to the new organizational and staffing table; advise and propose plans to build and adjust the party organization system and mass organizations in accordance with principles. Previously, in Hoa Dong commune, Krong Pak district (Dak Lak), the Special Forces also held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Ministry of National Defence on the reorganization of the 198th Special Forces Brigade (peacetime) under the Special Forces.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Head of the Ministry of National Defence, Colonel Vu Van Kich - Vice Chairman of the Political Department of the Special Forces announced Decision No. 3381/QD-BQP, dated August 3, 2024 of the Ministry of National Defence on the reorganization of the 198th Special Forces Brigade (peacetime) under the Special Forces.
