On the morning of March 29, Da Nang City held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the City Party Committee (March 28, 1930 - March 28, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the City Liberation Day (March 29, 1975 - March 29, 2025). The event was attended by General Secretary To Lam and many senior leaders of the Party and State.
Speaking at the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam affirmed Da Nang's important strategic position in the history of the struggle to protect the Fatherland as well as in the cause of national renewal and development. The General Secretary emphasized that the Party and State always acknowledge and highly appreciate the achievements that the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang city have achieved. At the same time, he praised Da Nang's outstanding achievements in socio-economic development. Especially the development model "5 high": High knowledge, high culture, high income, high governance and high standard of living, creating the "merits of the Han River".
General Secretary To Lam also affirmed that these proud achievements are the crystallization of the intelligence, efforts, enthusiasm and continuous efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of the city for the common goal of happiness and prosperity of the people. The General Secretary also highly appreciated the dynamic, creative spirit, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility of the Party committees at all levels and the government of Da Nang city. This is a valuable lesson in promoting the strength of solidarity and unity between the Party and the people.
The greatest achievement of the Da Nang Party Committee is to win the peoples favor, the General Secretary emphasized, and affirmed that this is an important premise for Da Nang to continue to develop rapidly and sustainably in the coming time.
General Secretary To Lam affirmed that Da Nang's achievements are not only meaningful to the city's development but also contribute positively to the overall development of the Central Highlands region and the whole country. The Party and State respect and highly appreciate the strong patriotism, revolutionary heroism, and great contributions of the people and armed forces of Da Nang city throughout the history of the country.
