General Secretary, President To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission attended and chaired the second conference of the Central Military Commission for the 2025-2030 term.

On the morning of June 24, in Hanoi, the Central Military Commission for the term 2025 - 2030 held its second conference. General Secretary, President To Lam, Secretary of the Central Military Commission attended and delivered directing speeches at the conference.

Attending the conference were members of the Politburo, members of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission: Prime Minister Le Minh Hung; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man; Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

General Phan Van Giang - Member of the Politburo, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense chaired the conference.

Also attending were Politburo members: Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Trinh Van Quyet; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Thanh Nghi; General Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

Attending the conference were General Nguyen Tan Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of the Ministry of National Defense; heads of the General Staff, General Department of Politics; delegates from general departments and some agencies and units under the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense.

The conference approved the preliminary report on military and defense work in the first 6 months of 2026, and the direction and tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.

Approving the conclusion of the Central Military Commission on leading the implementation of military and national defense tasks and building the Army Party Committee in the last 6 months of 2026.
