On the morning of August 6, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary and President To Lam chaired a working session with the Government Party Committee and agencies on the implementation of Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW dated January 16, 2012 of the 11th Party Central Committee and Conclusion No. 72-KL/TW dated February 23, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on building synchronous infrastructure, in order to basically turn our country into an industrialized country in a modern direction.

Also attending the working session were members of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Central Organization Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission Trinh Van Quyet; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri; Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission Nguyen Thanh Nghi. Also attending were members of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc; leaders of the Government Party Committee.
Conclusion No. 72-KL/TW dated February 23, 2024 of the 13th Politburo on continuing to implement Resolution No. 13-NQ/TW dated January 16, 2012 of the 11th Party Central Committee on building synchronous infrastructure to basically turn our country into an industrialized country in a modern direction has clearly stated the groups of tasks and solutions.
In which, the Politburo requested to continue to effectively implement the viewpoints, goals, and development orientations on transport infrastructure, electricity, irrigation and response to climate change, urban areas, industrial parks, economic zones, trade, information, education and training, science and technology, health, culture, sports, tourism and key solutions to develop a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, going one step ahead; with focus, key points, prioritizing breakthrough and basic areas. Promoting the infrastructure system that has been built, strengthening intra-regional, inter-regional, regional connectivity, narrowing the regional gap; rationally and effectively using land, water, forest and other resources.
Strive to develop an infrastructure system commensurate with developing countries, with modern industry, high-middle income; complete key national infrastructure projects, large-scale, connected to the region and the world. Orientation to 2045, develop a modern infrastructure system associated with developed countries, high-income; connect and integrate with the development of the world.
