According to VNA, within the framework of the official visit to the French Republic and attending the Space Summit in Paris, on the morning of September 10 (local time), General Secretary and President To Lam, along with his wife and high-level Vietnamese delegation, paid flower services at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh in Montreau Park (Montreuil city).
Also attending were the Mayor of Montreuil Patrice Bessac and the National Secretary of the French Communist Party Fabien Roussel.
Here, General Secretary and President To Lam expressed his emotion, remembering the merits of President Ho Chi Minh, remembering the years when he wandered to find a way to save the country, and expressing gratitude to the hearts of the French people for Uncle Ho during his life and activities in France. Montreau Park has long become a "red address", a sacred returning place, carrying many meanings and profound historical values for every Vietnamese person when coming to France.
General Secretary and President To Lam shared that this visit of the delegation is also of special significance on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's first visit to France (1911 - 2026). On that arduous journey to find a way to save the country, he has always received the companionship and assistance of his friends and French comrades. Through the years of attachment, President Ho Chi Minh has constantly nurtured and built a solid foundation for the good friendship between the two nations of Vietnam and France.

Not only leaving a deep mark in the history of the two countries' relations, President Ho Chi Minh's great contributions to the cause of struggle for independence, freedom and human peace have been recognized by the international community and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has honored him as "National Liberation Hero, Outstanding Cultural Figure".
Representative of the Montreuil city government, Mayor Patrice Bessac emphasized that for a long time, Montreuil and the Vietnamese people have been connected by a friendly, deeply united and sincere relationship. President Ho Chi Minh is an inseparable part of the city's history.
President Ho Chi Minh was associated with the resilient struggle and iron will of the Vietnamese people. His life of activities was also closely associated with France.
On this occasion, General Secretary and President To Lam visited the Ho Chi Minh Space, located in the Museum of Living History right in the center of Montreau Park and signed the Golden Book with the content: Documents, images and artifacts preserved here help us to further appreciate his life and activities and the history of relations between Vietnam and France, and at the same time deeply feel the good feelings that the French people, including the people of Montreuil city, have for Vietnam.
General Secretary and President To Lam respectfully thanked the government and people of Montreuil city for always paying attention to preserving President Ho Chi Minh's Space; hoping that the feelings and attachment between Montreuil city and Vietnam will always be maintained and developed, contributing to the deep and broad development of the friendly relations and Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and France, for the benefit of the people of the two countries, for peace and development.
The Ho Chi Minh Space, located in the Museum of Living History, is a place to preserve precious images and artifacts about the life and activities of President Ho Chi Minh during his years in France. In addition, the space also displays many documents, newspapers, and photos introducing the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. The city government considers this Space one of the city's cultural heritages.
