The General Secretary and President was pleased to see that the Vietnamese community in India is united, integrated well, and has made many practical contributions to the relations between the two countries.

After arriving in New Delhi, in the late afternoon of May 5 (local time), General Secretary and President To Lam and the high-level Vietnamese delegation met with officials and staff of the Embassy and the Vietnamese community in India.

Talking to officials of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in India, General Secretary and President To Lam was pleased to see that the Vietnamese community in India is increasingly mature, united, and integrated well, making many practical contributions to the relations between the two countries.

The intellectual community, international students, and monks and nuns studying at Buddhist schools in India are a resourceful force, trained in a favorable academic environment, accessing advanced knowledge and fields where India is strong. The community's relationship with the local government and people is increasingly developing well.

Regarding Vietnam-India cooperation relations, the General Secretary and President emphasized that within the framework of the visit, the working delegation will deploy many rich and practical activities, thereby contributing to deepening political trust, expanding substantive cooperation, and creating new momentum for the relations between the two countries.

General Secretary and President affirmed that the Party and State always pay deep attention, considering the Vietnamese community abroad as an inseparable part and an important resource of the nation.

The General Secretary and President wished the Vietnamese community in India to continue to be united, strong, always looking towards the Fatherland, contributing to fostering Vietnam-India friendship to become increasingly strong and developed.

The General Secretary and President wished Vietnamese intellectuals and students in India to continue their efforts in studying and researching, proactively connecting with the country, participating in knowledge networks, technology transfer, and proposing initiatives to serve national development.

The business community and workers, continue to promote the spirit of dynamism and creativity, and make good use of economic cooperation opportunities between the two countries; contributing to market connection, promoting trade, investment, and supply chains.

Each Vietnamese person in India is a "people's ambassador", contributing to spreading the image of the country and people of Vietnam, continuing to preserve national cultural identity, preserving the Vietnamese language, nurturing love for the homeland in the young generation; and actively integrating, respecting local laws and culture.

Vietnamese-Indian families need to continue to be "living bridges", where the two cultures intersect, spread and are sustainable. Associations continue to consolidate organizations, promote the role of connecting, building increasingly strong communities, towards the Fatherland.

The General Secretary and President requested the Embassy and Vietnamese representative agencies in India to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, innovation, and creativity; effectively implement the Party's foreign policy; further deepen Vietnam-India relations; and at the same time take better care of community work, strengthening the connection between overseas Vietnamese and domestic people.

Representative agencies are not only a bridge in relations between the two countries, but must also be a reliable support for the Vietnamese community in India.
