Also attending the meeting were Politburo members: Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
Previously, on the afternoon of August 5, in Hanoi, General Secretary To Lam - Head of the Central Steering Committee for institutional and legal improvement (Steering Committee) - chaired a thematic meeting of the Steering Committee.
The General Secretary said that through the discussion, the Steering Committee found that there were still many opinions on some major orientations on amending and supplementing the Land Law. Propose that the Government Party Committee direct the Party Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to coordinate with agencies to continue to complete the Report on some major orientations on amending and supplementing the Land Law.
In early September 2025, the National Assembly Standing Committee held its 49th session to give opinions on many important contents according to its authority. It is expected that the amended Land Law will be considered, commented on and approved by the National Assembly at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
