This morning (December 16), at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Central Organizing Committee held a national conference to review Party building and organization work in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. General Secretary To Lam attended and delivered a speech at the conference, according to VOV.
According to the report at the conference, in 2024, the entire Party building organization sector completed a large amount of work, notably proactively advising on the comprehensive, synchronous and effective implementation of key tasks and issuing many Resolutions, Directives, Conclusions, regulations and statutes to concretize the 10 tasks on Party building, 3 key tasks and 3 breakthrough solutions set forth by the 13th National Party Congress.
Organize the synchronous implementation of all aspects of Party building work from the Central to local levels. Accordingly, since the beginning of the term, the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat have submitted 79 projects and tasks to the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat for approval, and advised on the issuance of 72 documents contributing to the completion of Party regulations on Party building work. In addition, actively advise on the preparation work for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress to ensure synchronization and comprehensiveness in terms of content, personnel, and organization and service for the Congress.
In particular, the industry has actively advised on the drastic, active, comprehensive and effective implementation of Resolutions on Party building and rectification, and building the political system, including timely advising on summarizing Resolution 18 of the Central Committee on reorganizing the apparatus, streamlining the payroll associated with restructuring the team of cadres, civil servants and public employees with the highest sense of urgency and determination.
Based on the achieved results and from the reality that sets higher requirements for the work of organizing and building the Party, building the political system, preparing the country to enter a new era, the era of national growth, next year and the following period, the entire Party organization and building sector determined to continue to innovate, make efforts, and be highly determined to complete 10 groups of tasks, solutions and 3 strategic breakthrough solutions on Party building work in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
In particular, focus on advising on the development and implementation of the 2025 Work Program to ensure progress and quality associated with the preparation and successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress;
Strengthen internal political protection work, promote propaganda work, summarize practices, and conduct scientific research on Party building and organization with the consistent spirit of continuing to build a clean and strong Party building and organization sector.
