On the afternoon of July 1, General Secretary To Lam visited and inspected the activities of local governments at both levels in Phuc Thinh commune.
Phuc Thinh commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of Nam Hong, Bac Hong, Van Noi communes; most of the area and population of Nguyen Khe, Tien Duong; and part of Dong Anh town, Xuan Non, Vinh Ngoc.
After the merger, the commune has a natural area of: 42.68 km2; population of: 90.926 people. After the merger, the head office was located at the People's Committee of Nguyen Khe commune (old).
Here, General Secretary To Lam visited the people to complete administrative procedures, and gave a speech to the authorities of Phuc Thinh commune.
On the same afternoon, General Secretary To Lam also visited and inspected the activities of the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center No. 1 Branch on Vo Chi Cong Street.

Today, July 1, together with the whole country, the two-level local government of Hanoi City has officially operated, the entire system of agencies of the new 126 communes and wards has been operated with efforts to ensure that operations take place continuously, without interruption, and smoothly from the first day.
According to the reporter of Lao Dong Newspaper in some wards and communes of Hanoi city, from early morning, cadres and civil servants were present, ready to carry out assigned tasks.
The spirit of urgency and seriousness has been thoroughly grasped by the leaders of communes and wards, determined not to interrupt the work that has been done before.
Despite facing many difficulties, the general spirit of the staff, civil servants and public employees of the new communes and wards of Hanoi is to make every effort, proactively find solutions, and be determined not to affect the overall quality of operation of the apparatus.
