General Secretary To Lam attended the opening and participated in the election at the Phan Dinh Phung High School polling station, polling area No. 2, Ba Dinh ward, Hanoi.
Also participating at this polling station were Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo Members, Secretary of the Party Central Committee: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Pham Gia Tuc; Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.

Especially witnessing the atmosphere of voters gathering very fully, with a very excited spirit to participate in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.
The General Secretary said that this is the 16th National General Election, this is an opportunity to select and select the people who are most trusted and prestigious by the people to continue leading the country to develop.

This election takes place after our country just successfully held the 14th National Congress of the Party. All guidelines, policies, orientations, and directions for national development in this term as well as the vision of later periods have been introduced, promoted, and strongly supported by the people, cadres, and party members.
