Right from when it was still foggy, in many border communes of Y Ty, A Mu Sung, Trinh Tuong, Bat Xat, Pha Long, Muong Khuong, Ban Lau, Si Ma Ca..., groups of voters were present at the polling stations.
On small winding roads along the mountainside, people of H'Mong, Dao, Ha Nhi, Giay ethnic groups... come together to the polling area, creating a bustling atmosphere in the border villages.

Many voters wore colorful traditional costumes. Greetings and conversations echoed loudly, making the polling areas in the highlands even warmer in the chilly weather.
At a polling station in the border commune of Y Ty, Mr. Giang A Phu, a H'Mong ethnic voter, said that although his house is a few kilometers away from the polling station, from early morning he and his wife and children walked to get there in time to participate in the election.

Election day is an important day for the country. Everyone in the village wants to leave early to exercise their rights. We hope to choose people with heart and responsibility to pay more attention to the lives of people in the highlands," Mr. Phu shared.
At many polling stations, service forces have fully prepared facilities, posted candidate lists, and guided voters to implement voting steps in accordance with regulations.
Thanks to the propaganda work being widely deployed before, people in villages and hamlets all knew clearly and proactively came to vote early.

Ms. Ly Thi Pao, a young voter in a highland commune of Si Ma Cai, said that this election participation made her feel more clearly her responsibility to her homeland.
We hope that the elected delegates will pay more attention to infrastructure development, education and creating livelihoods for people in mountainous areas so that life becomes better and better," Ms. Pao said.

According to representatives of local authorities, election preparations in highland and border communes have been deployed early, ensuring that polling areas are conveniently arranged for people.
Although roads are still difficult to travel, and the weather in the highlands is sometimes cold and rainy, the spirit of participation in the election of ethnic minorities is still very excited. Many families come to the polling station together, considering this as a village festival.

From H'Mong villages on the mountainside, Dao villages in the deep forest or Ha Nhi villages in remote border areas, each ballot of highland voters has been sent into the ballot box with faith and expectation.
This is also an opportunity for ethnic minorities to show their solidarity, responsibility and belief in the development of their homeland and country.
