On the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the birth of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh (July 1, 1945 - July 1, 2025), this morning (September 29), in Hanoi, the Central Party Office organized the Exhibition "General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh - Life and Career".

Also attending were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung; Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Phan Dinh Trac; Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc.
Also attending were Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of departments, ministries, branches, and organizations at the Central level, leaders of Hung Yen province, and representatives of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh's family.

With more than 200 documents, images and artifacts displayed at the exhibition, it introduced the life and revolutionary career of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, contributing to educating revolutionary traditions, arousing patriotism and national pride for each Vietnamese person today to continue to strive for a developed country with rich development.
Speaking at the opening of the Exhibition, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Le Hoai Trung emphasized that our Party has affirmed: Comrade Nguyen Van Linh is one of the outstanding students of President Ho Chi Minh, a very resilient, loyal, and devoted communist Party member who has fought for the ideal of national independence and socialism, for the happiness of the people, a prestigious leader of the Party, people, and army, a trusted friend of international friends.
Mr. Le Hoai Trung hopes that the Exhibition will convey some of the great contributions, as well as the beauty of communist soldier Nguyen Van Linh in work and in real life.

Through the exhibition, we can clearly see the arduous journey that the country and the Vietnamese revolution have gone through in the 20th century, as well as the historical scale of the great victories that our people have achieved under the leadership of the Party, with the top important role of leaders like Comrade Nguyen Van Linh.
The exhibition is arranged in 5 main sections with more than 200 documents, images, and exhibits, introducing the life and revolutionary career of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh.

Part one with the theme " Homeland, family, youth (1915-1930)", introduces the homeland, family, youth and revolutionary enlightenment journey of comrade Nguyen Van Cuc (aka Nguyen Van Linh).
Part two with the theme "A graduate in the revolutionary struggle", introduces the time when he was imprisoned by the enemy and transported and tortured in "hell on earth" - Con Dao prison (period 1931-1936 and period 1941-1945). In 1945, the August Revolution was successful, he was released from Con Dao prison and began a new revolutionary struggle with the nation.
The third part Flying with the Southern Compatriots (1946-1975, introduces the comrades activities, is extremely rich, vibrant, close to the reality of the revolutionary movement and understands the thoughts and aspirations of the Southern people.
Part four Focusing and exploring new directions (1976-86) introduces the process of Comrade Nguyen Van Linh with roles and responsibilities in the Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat, assigned to hold the positions of: Head of the Central Committee for Socialist Reform, Head of the Central Front for Mass Mobilization, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.
The year "Leadership in the country's renovation process (1986-1996)" was introduced to the 6th National Congress of the Party (December 1986). At the Congress, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh was elected to the Party Central Committee and was elected by the Central Committee as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
