General Secretary To Lam's visit contributes to consolidating a solid political foundation for Vietnam-Cambodia relations.

On the evening of February 6th, General Secretary To Lam and the high-level Vietnamese delegation left Phnom Penh capital, successfully concluding their state visit to Cambodia; co-chaired the high-level meeting between the Politburo of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party and co-chaired the meeting between the three leaders of the three parties Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos in Cambodia on February 6th.

Within the framework of the visit, General Secretary To Lam met with Samdech Techo Hun Sen; visited Empress Dowager Norodom Monineath Sihanouk at the Royal Palace; laid wreaths at the Independence Monument, the Monument to the late King Norodom Sihanouk, the Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship Monument; attended the High-Level Meeting between the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Cambodian People's Party; attended the signing and handover of cooperation documents; attended the Meeting between the three Heads of the three Parties: Communist Party of Vietnam, Cambodian People's Party and Lao People's Revolutionary Party; met with Honorary Chairman of the Cambodian People's Party Heng Samrin; attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Cambodia - Vietnam Friendship School; visited the Embassy and met with the Vietnamese community in Cambodia...

The state visit of General Secretary To Lam and the high-level Vietnamese delegation to the Kingdom of Cambodia not only contributes to consolidating a solid political foundation for Vietnam-Cambodia relations, but also creates new momentum to promote comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, the two countries as well as the three Parties and three countries Vietnam - Cambodia - Laos, for peace, stability and sustainable development of the region.
