    On the morning of August 11, 2025, after talks, General Secretary To Lam and President of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung witnessed the handover ceremony of cooperation documents between the two countries.

    According to VNA, 10 cooperation documents have been signed between the ministries and branches of Vietnam and Korea.

    This State visit to Korea is the first visit of General Secretary To Lam as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and also the first State visit of a country's leader to Korea after the country has a new administration.
