Within the framework of the state visit to Vietnam from May 25-27, on the afternoon of May 26, General Secretary To Lam and French President Emmanuel Macron visited the President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace and planted friendship trees.
Visiting the President Ho Chi Minh relic site, General Secretary To Lam introduced to the French President the stilt house of Uncle Ho, along with the life and career of the great President Ho Chi Minh, the Hero of National Liberation of Vietnam, and an outstanding cultural figure.


The President Ho Chi Minh relic site at the Presidential Palace is a special national relic, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked for the last 15 years of his life (1954 still).
This is not only a place to preserve relics and artifacts associated with the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, but also a sacred destination for international compatriots and friends.
Also on the afternoon of May 26, General Secretary To Lam's wife, Ms. Ngo Phuong Ly and French President Emmanuel Macron's wife, Ms. Brigitte Macron visited the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.

At the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly introduced many works of art, reflecting the cultural identity and historical depth of the Vietnamese people with Mrs. Brigitte Macron.
The two ladies enjoyed many works of art such as the statue of Buddha, Mrs. Quan Am (16th century), the painting "Em Thuy" ( painted by Tran Van Can, 1943)...



Previously, at noon on May 26, General Secretary To Lam and his wife Ngo Phuong Ly, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte Macron visited and learned about Vietnamese culture at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the first National University of Vietnam.
