The Minister of Agriculture and Environment has just issued Decision No. 35-QDNNMT on the Regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Department of Hydrometeorology (KTTV).
The Department of Transport is an organization under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, performing the function of advising and assisting the Minister in state management and organizing the implementation of laws on transport nationwide; managing and organizing the implementation of public service activities under the state management of the Department according to the provisions of law.
The Department of Hydrometeorology has a department head and no more than 3 deputy department heads.
According to the Decision, the organizational structure of the Department of Planning and Investment has 13 units, a reduction of 6 units compared to Decision No. 10/QD-KTTV of the Prime Minister dated April 24, 2023 on Regulations on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the General Department of Hydrometeorology. These include: Department of Forecasting and Information Management, Information and Data of the Ministry of Transport; Department of Management of the Ministry of Information and Communications Network; Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation; Department of Planning and Finance; Department of Organization and Personnel; Office; Center for Technical Monitoring of the Ministry of Information and Data of the Ministry of Transport; National Center for Forecasting of the Ministry of Information and Communications; Center for Investigation and Survey, Technology and Services of the Ministry of Finance; Northern Bank of Finance; Central Bank of Finance Bank; Southern and Central Highlands Bank of Finance.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Thuong Hien - Chief of Office of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment was appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and Environment to hold the position of Director of the Department of Hydrometeorology from March 1, 2025. The deputy directors are Mr. La Duc Dung, Mr. Hoang Duc Cuong and Ms. Dang Thanh Mai.
