On July 4, the Government Inspectorate organized a conference to summarize the work in the first 6 months of the year; deploy key tasks for the last 6 months of 2026.
At the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Government Inspector General Nguyen Quoc Doan gave a number of directions for the last 6 months of the year.
According to the Government Inspector General, the Inspectorate sector needs to continue to strongly innovate leadership, direction, and administration methods, creating positive changes, high determination, great efforts, and striving to excellently complete all tasks in 2026.

In which, continue to closely follow the orientation of the 2026 inspection program, the requirements and directions of the Central Steering Committee, the Government, the Prime Minister, Heads of administrative agencies at all levels and the actual situation to continue to organize the implementation and completion of the inspection plan and unexpected tasks assigned by superiors;
Advise on the synchronous implementation of tasks on citizen reception and complaint and denunciation resolution; Continue to implement resolutions and directions of the Central Government, the National Assembly, and the Government, strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing policies and laws on citizen reception and complaint and denunciation resolution;
Continue to effectively implement the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; Effectively implement the National Strategy on preventing and combating corruption and negativity to 2030 and regulations on asset and income control; assess the current situation of implementing corruption prevention measures and propose to rectify, overcome, and amend the Law on Prevention and Combat of Corruption;
Regarding the vertical industry-based organization model, operating under the "duplicate" mechanism at the Central and local levels, it is proposed that the Inspectorates of Ministries, sectors and provinces and cities actively coordinate with the Government Inspectorate in developing the Project, ensuring reports to the Central Organization Committee in August 2026 on schedule;
The entire Inspectorate sector needs to focus on implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo; promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation in inspection work, citizen reception, complaint and denunciation resolution, and anti-corruption, wastefulness, and negativity. At the same time, it is proposed that ministries, branches, and localities closely coordinate with the Government Inspectorate in digitizing dossiers and documents to serve the construction of national databases assigned by the Steering Committee.
Previously, according to information from the Government Inspectorate, in the first 6 months of 2026, the entire Inspectorate sector deployed 1,745 inspections, issued 1,122 inspection conclusions at 3,469 units.
