On March 6, at the headquarters of the Government Inspectorate, Mr. Doan Hong Phong - Inspector General of the Government Inspectorate chaired a department-level meeting on the results of work in February, deploying tasks for March 2026.
Regarding professional work, in February, the Government Inspectorate deployed a total of 37 inspections. In which, 13 conclusions of 10 inspections were issued, 5 draft inspection conclusions were reported to the Prime Minister, and at the same time continued to develop reports and draft conclusions for 14 other inspections.
The Central Citizen Reception Board received 162 turns of citizens to present 162 cases of complaints and denunciations. The total number of petitions to be processed in the month is 1,955 petitions, of which 1,913 petitions have been classified and processed according to regulations.
Regarding tasks for the coming time, the Government Inspector General requested units to continue to implement the 2026 Inspection Plan and assigned unexpected inspections; accelerate the progress of issuing inspection conclusions.
Departments IV, VI and VIII are assigned to urgently advise on issuing 5 inspection conclusions that have been reported to the Prime Minister; and at the same time accelerate the progress of drafting conclusions for 14 inspections that are in the process of completion.
Along with that, units continue to deploy 8 direct inspections according to the plan; strengthen publicity, transparency, improve public service ethics and the responsibility of the head of the inspection team in the process of performing tasks.
In the field of citizen reception and complaint and denunciation resolution, the Government Inspector General requested to continue to effectively implement legal regulations; strengthen coordination between central and local agencies, promote the application of information technology and deploy online citizen reception models.
