On the morning of June 16, the Tam Ky City Party Committee, Quang Nam Province held a conference to deploy a number of tasks on the arrangement of the organizational apparatus of new administrative units.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee is currently the Party Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the new Tam Ky Ward, Mr. Do Van Minh (Vice Chairman of the Tam Ky City People's Committee) is the Chairman of the new Tam Ky Ward People's Committee.
For the new Quang Phu ward, Mr. Bui Ngoc Anh (Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Nam province) will be the Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam (Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee) will be the Ward People's Committee Chairman.
For the new Ban Thach ward, Mr. Nguyen Duy An (Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee) was appointed as Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Mr. Duong Van Tuan (Head of the Department of Economic Infrastructure, Urban Management of Tam Ky City) was appointed as Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
For Huong Tra ward, Mr. Pham Hoang Duc (Standing Deputy Secretary of Tam Ky City Party Committee) is the Party Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council, Mr. Tran Trung Hau (Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee) is the Chairman of the Ward People's Committee.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Secretary of the Tam Ky City Party Committee said that the merger and operation of the two-level government was a very drastic, rapid and urgent revolution, so far for Tam Ky, the contents have been basically completed.

For Tam Ky city, the merger of the remaining 12 communes and wards of the 4 wards has been announced and received high support from party members and the masses and the participation and consultation of scientists and researchers on history.
