Regarding land-related procedures, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tien - Head of the Department of Land Technical, Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office - said that documents on land use rights and property ownership rights previously issued are still valid. Changing information on documents is only done when people have a need.
In the process of implementing other land procedures, the Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office, districts, towns and Thu Duc City will proactively adjust information in the documents to synchronize with the new administrative unit.
Ho Chi Minh City has completed phase 1 of the arrangement of specialized agencies, administrative agencies and public service units under the People's Committees of Ho Chi Minh City, Thu Duc City and districts.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee reduced the number of specialized agencies from 21 to 16, including: Department of Finance; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Construction; Department of Transport; Department of Science and Technology; Department of Culture and Sports; Department of Tourism; Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions; Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Department of Health; Department of Education and Training; Department of Justice; Department of Industry and Trade; Department of Food Safety; Office of the City People's Committee; City Inspectorate.
In Thu Duc City, the number of agencies under the People's Committee decreased from 16 to 14, while districts and towns decreased from 12 to 10.
According to Mr. Nguyen Bac Nam - Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs, the city is continuing to implement projects under the direction of the Central Government, including reorganizing provinces and cities, not organizing the implementation of district-level government and reorganizing commune-level government.
