The Ho Chi Minh City People's Council will elect the Chairman of the People's Council, the Vice Chairmen of the People's Council; at the same time, establish the Boards of the People's Council and elect the Heads of the Boards of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council for the 2026 - 2031 term.
The session also approved the Resolution of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council approving the number and list of Deputy Heads of Committees and members of the Committees of the City People's Council of the XI term, term 2026 - 2031.
In addition, the City People's Council will elect the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee and members of the People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031.
