“The interactive exhibition “Famous battles, talented generals” is an effort by Nhan Dan Newspaper to create a new experience, serve and attract the public better. We believe that if we boldly innovate and communicate creatively, traditional and historical values will become closer and more accessible to the younger generation,” Mr. Le Quoc Minh emphasized.
Through visual maps, sounds, and scientifically presented documents, visitors will have an interesting experience and easily grasp information about famous, landmark battles such as the Viet Bac campaign (1947), Dien Bien Phu campaign (1954), Tay Nguyen campaign (1975), Ho Chi Minh campaign (1975)...
In particular, visitors will have the opportunity to admire a set of portraits of 20 talented generals of the Vietnam People's Army created by artist Do Hoang Tuong using watercolor techniques on paper.

Painter Do Hoang Tuong shared that each brush stroke and each color block he painted carried with it feelings of respect, admiration and pride when recreating the images of people who made the glorious history of the country.
Technology-loving tourists can scan the QR code integrated into each painting and battle diagram to experience more information and visual images of famous battles and the marks of talented generals in the nation's history.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from December 18-22, 2024, at the headquarters of Nhan Dan Newspaper (71 Hang Trong, Hanoi).
After the exhibition, this collection of paintings will be presented by Nhan Dan Newspaper to the Vietnam Military History Museum to preserve and serve the history-loving public.
